The 501st Connecticut Garrison

The NEC joined forces with the 501st Connecticut Garrison for the 2009 Saturday Night Sci-Fi themed Banquet!  Members of this organization come in full Star Wars costumes and they really knew how to act the part of the character they portrayed!  We had Storm Troopers, Darth Vader, Jedi Pilots and even Anakin Skywalker walking the halls and joining us during the banquet!  All they ask is that we donate money in their name to a recognized charity (we chose the American Diabetes Association).  We raised more money with Doug Patac, Julie Ann Quinn-Paquette and Christopher Boulanger running a photo booth at the banquet, which was a HUGE success!  A portion of each photo was sent to the ADA.  The photographs can be viewed on our website under History and then the Convention Photos tab.
