The NEC is an organization dedicated to educating hobbyists, promoting communication between clubs and furthering the aquarium hobby.  Our Annual Convention draws approximately 400 hobbyists from around the country and serves is our vehicle to promote the hobby by offering several different programs at the convention.

The NEC is looking for sponsors for a variety of programs designed to meet our goals of education, communication and perpetuation of the hobby.  Below is an outline of how you can contribute to these programs, and further information about each program is provided in enclosures.  You may choose to help fund our efforts by being a sponsor for any or all programs, in part or in total.  The deadline for sponsorship is February 1^st, but the earlier you sign up as a sponsor, the more exposure
you will have on our website!  A Sponsor Form is attached for your convenience.

Sponsor the 35th Annual Convention Speakers

All sponsors will be advertised on the convention website, in the convention program booklet and during the speaker’s presentation.  We will associate sponsors with each speaker whenever possible to maximize your exposure.  You may choose to sponsor a specific speaker or simply sponsor “a” speaker.

On the Convention website, your company will have a prominent ad/link on the Home page, appear in the rotating ads/links on the Speaker page and have an ad/link on the Sponsor page. You will have a full page ad in the Convention Program Booklet and be mentioned at the Speaker’s presentation.

$500  Silver Sponsor
You will have a rotating ad/link on the Speaker Page and have an ad/link on the Sponsor page of the website, your ad will appear in the convention program booklet and you will be mentioned at the Speaker’s presentation.

$200  Bronze Sponsor
Your company will be listed/linked on the Speaker page and on the Sponsor page of the convention website, listed in the Convention Program Booklet and mentioned at the Speaker’s presentation.

Sponsoring the Innes Show Competition

Showing fish has been an integral part of the hobby for years.  Shows introduce the public to the hobby, educate and creates enthusiasm for the fishkeeping hobby.  To encourage showing fish, the NEC will hold its 3^rd Annual William T. Innes Competition at the 35^th Convention.  This show is by invitation only to the 20 people who accumulated the most points by showing fish throughout the year at NEC Clubs’ Shows.  These “Best of the Best” fish are judged, the top 3 winners receive $500, $300 and $200 and each receive an elaborate trophy.

Product Donations

It is always good to have your products available at our convention!  The convention draws heavily from the public for its Sunday Auction and we look for gift certificates, product donations and literature to present to the audience and help fund the general convention.  These donations many also be used throughout the convention.  By making a product donation, your company will be included on the convention website as a Sponsor, in the convention program booklet and on a poster at the convention.  Donations may be shipped to this residential address:
