The Passing of Jim WhiteWHITE, James Joel James Joel White, 46, of Windsor, CT, peacefully passed away on August 3, 2010. "Jim" was born on April 13, 1964 in Pittsfield, MA, and lived most of his life in Windsor. He leaves his parents, Marie White and Donald White; his three brothers, Paul, Allan, and Steven; and three nephews and three nieces. He was a much beloved friend of Joe Reilly and family of Windsor, Lee and Kevin Wolf of Salem, MA, and Joe and Liz McAuliffe of Windsor. Jim graduated from St. Gabriel's School, Windsor High School, and the University of Connecticut. He was a recognized authority on tropical fish, a strong advocate for fish conservation, and a board member of the Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies (NEC). His family will receive friends Monday (August 9, 2010) from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday August 10th, prior to the graveside service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. A Graveside Service will follow on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Elm Grove Cemetery, Poquonock Ave., Windsor.
