SNEKA was started in 2009  to serve the Boston, MA, Providence, RI and Hartford, CT triangle, but we welcome members from farther afield.  SNEKA was founded as a way to get local killifish keepers together, trade fish and have a good time. We meet irregularly, every couple of months or so.  We have no annual dues, but SNEKA members must maintain their membership in the AKA (American Killifish Association).  We do have meeting dues: either a pair of killifish (preferred), half-a-dozen juvenile killifish, a dozen killifish eggs, live plants,  another killifish related item, or $5.  The fish or other items are auctioned off at the end of the meeting.  If you are interested in killifish, you are welcome at our meetings.
