Dutton, Todd
Todd’s father got him started with his first 10 gallon tank when he was eleven years old and he’s been keeping fish ever since. He is currently focused on livebearers and catfish, but has enjoyed cichlids and labyrinth fish as well. Currently, Todd keeps 20 tanks (250 gallons) and all but 2 are connected to his self-designed bulk overflow system. Todd works for the USDA and spent 8 years of his career as a regulatory officer in the field. He spent several years conducting international cargo inspection and it was at that time he discovered how the aquarium hobby was impacted by a variety of laws and regulations. This presentation introduces participants to a basic understanding of how the aquarium hobby is impacted by International, National, and State Law and how hobbyists can enjoy their hobby within the law.
