Ghori, Ghazanfar
Ghazanfar Ghori has been involved with the aquarium hobby for 25 years, with the past eight years dedicated to planted aquaria. He’s taken part in many aquascaping competitions, including the annual ADA Aquascaping Contest. He is a well-respected hobbyist in the U.S. and has spoken at numerous aquaria related conventions and events on various topics. He was also president of GWAPA, the Greater Washington Aquatic Plants Association for a number of years. GWAPA is one of the largest and planted clubs aquarium clubs in the U.S. Currently he is focusing on plants from the genus Bucephalandra. Ghazanfar has also spent a number of years keeping and propagating Cryptocoryne species. His collection comprising 30+ species and 60+ variants. In addition, Ghazanfar has spent a number of years keeping and breeding Old World and New World dwarf cichlids, many of which were undescribed. By profession, Ghazanfar is a Microsoft professional, working in the Washington, D.C. metro area, where he resides with his wife and three children.
