Glaser, Caroline
For Caroline Glaser, overwintering two Big Brown bats in 2005 evolved into a commitment to care for and protect the insectivorous bats that live in New England. Caroline earned a wildlife rehabilitator’s license while volunteering at a nature center in southern Connecticut. Armed with the specialized training she received at Bat World Sanctuary in Mineral Wells, Texas, Caroline chose to concentrate on rehabbing the truly unique flying mammals of the night. She lives in Greenfield, Massachusetts, where she shares her home with convalescing bats. Programs:
