Rego, Rick

Rick Rego is the Vice-President of both the Tropical Fish Society of Rhode Island (TFSRI) and is also active in the Northeast Livebearers Association (NELA). He is also the New England Regional Representative for the North American Native Fishes Association (NANFA). An avid aquarist for many years, he also maintains a large reference library and a preserved fish collection focusing on the non-indigenous fishes occurring in the United States. Beyond his avocation for aquariums, he works as a firefighter and public fire and life safety educator in Swansea, Massachusetts and volunteers with seal, dolphin and whale rescue with the Cape Cod Stranding Network.
