Rhyne, Andy
Andrew Rhyne is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology and Marine Biology at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. He is also a Research Scientist at the New England Aquarium, a position he has held since August 2008. Andy’s research interests include marine ornamental aquacultures, and sustainability of the marine fishery in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Professor Rhyne , in collaboration with the New England Aquarium, has been involved in developing a breeding program of the species on exhibit at the Aquarium. A recent milestone has been the rearing of the Queen triggerfish, a species that has not been successfully reared in captivity prior to this collaboration. Programs: A Wild Look at Captive Fish
