Weis, Ph.D., Judith S.

Dr. Judith S. Weis is a Professor Emerita of Biological Sciences at Rutgers University. For many years, she has been interested in how pollution and invasive species put stress on salt marshes. She has published more than 200 scientific papers, a technical book on marine pollution, and several books for the general public including “Salt Marshes: A Natural and Unnatural History,” “Do Fish Sleep?,” “Walking Sideways: The Remarkable World of Crabs,” and “Marine Pollution: What Everyone Needs to Know.” Programs: Do Fish Sleep?
